Musician:  The Village

In existence since June 2013 but formed as a result of a lifetime in music, the material by the Village is based around the themes of reflection and reminiscence, along with thoughts of childhood and teenage years. The songs have all been written over the last few months with contemporary performance styles influenced by big names such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and the Lightning Seeds along with more lesser-known acts such as Stackridge, and are now available as downloads from http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/thevillage12 or on CD direct from the band.

Band:  Bloody Diamond

Bloody Diamonds is a Canadian rock band with dirty, heavy riffs and seductively powerful vocals. Their intense live performances and raw sound are the result of Sara’s dark, eerie melodies and Jake’s crunchy blues riffs. The two bring together a classic blues rock sound with a modern, gothic twist and enough attitude to keep your eyes and ears hooked.

With the gloom of early Black Sabbath, and the modern feel of Band of Skulls, Bloody Diamonds bring a sense of urgency to every stage they play. Since their formation in 2011, the band has been relentlessly touring their hard-hitting rock show throughout Canada, playing hundreds of shows, and releasing a full length LP and 7” single during this time. The band’s in-your-face passion for rock n’ roll earned them a nomination for Loud Recording of the Year at Nova Scotia Music Week, and showcases at NXNE, CMW, and Halifax Pop Explosion. Their music has also received placement on television, along with international radio airplay.

Band:  Digital Collapse
Emerging from the remnants of previous projects (Tapered Mind, Absolution), Digital Collapse has risen with veteran finesse in their self-titled debut EP, produced by Clint Lowery (Sevendust, Call Me No One, Dark New Day). The album showcases their knack for writing accessible music that’s not overly reliant on catchy hooks, but on cold hard musicianship. The vocals (Corey Kipps) effortlessly volley between melodic ease and intense screams. Creative guitar lines (Ian Zuckerman, Tyler Metz) breathe a bright but gutsy energy, framed by gritty, crafty drumming (Tom Godin).

Band:  The March Divide

The upcoming EP “four” by San Antonio-based trio The March Divide is the band’s fourth release and contains four songs, so you can probably guess where this title came from.  The release is a reminder of band leader Jared Putnam’s “impressively hooky” songwriting (as noted by American Songwriter) that is the result of honing his skills on the road with his previous group, The Conversation which shared stages with everyone from The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Against Me!, and Alkaline Trio during its day. - See more at: http://themarchdivide.com/about/#sthash.rslrNJb2.dpuf
